Just got back from a C.W.I.L. meeting (my local writer's meeting for all things not mainstream with a heavy focus on sci-fi & fantasy) where I got my recent microfiction critiqued. On the bright side I now have a title for it, namely Virtual Strangers. On the other hand it's become quite clear that it still needs a lot of work...

In line with my decision to shift my writing focus, I managed to do only original writing the first seven days of May with only one exception (that being my Numb3rs drabble Clue). I only wrote on 4 of those 7 days, but I managed a total of 4,618 words which, while not terrific, is more than I managed in all of January, so I'm quite pleased with ( Read more... )
